Party season is upon us and it was the perfect excuse for Harriet and Grace to go shopping!

Last week Grace and I attended the prestigious FX Awards on Park Lane. The FX Awards celebrate world-class design excellence with a glamorous black tie ceremony and it was an incredible event.

Every year we get ready in a mad rush in the ladies, so this year – with our own showroom! – we invited a few of our contacts to join us for pampering ahead of the awards and had a beautician in to do our make up.

We were also fortunate enough to attend Mixology North which was great fun. There were over 1200 attendees who made the most of fair ground rides and cocktail, gin & champagne bars… the dance floor saw a lot of action too!

I hadn’t expected to know as many people being up north and was pleasantly surprised to see so many familiar faces from Manchester, London and Scotland.

Congratulations to all the worthy winners – it was a privilege to celebrate with you all!

In between both award dos, I also held an intimate party to celebrate my 30th with some industry friends. I apologise to those who were there to witness the dancing, singing and sambucca shots!

Safe to say I’m looking forward to some time off over Christmas to recharge my batteries!
