Known for thinking outside the box, British designer Jasper Morrison is one of the most successful industrial designers of the past few decades.

In his work, he strives to create good examples of understated, useful and responsible design.

Design makes things seem special, and who wants normal if they can have special?

Morrison studied design at the Kingston Polytechnic Design School in London and the Royal College of Art for postgraduate studies. In 1986, he founded the Office for Design in London. He works as an industrial designer for Vitra, Cappellini and others. He holds many design exhibitions and lectures regularly. More recently, Morrison has turned his hand to designing furniture, for the Tate Modern in London among others.

In collaboration with Artifort, he designed the modular sofa Vega.
